Hello, I am Rita Meneses, a registered clinical psychologist (Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugeses, Portugal, 2008) with a Ph.D in Psychology (University of Birmingham, UK, 2011), and a Proficiency in English certificate (Cambridge University, 1995). I actualized my knowledge of quantitative research and data mining approaches recently. Simultaneously, I explored the application of my academic background and professional experience to the areas of business, knowledge management, and design thinking (PgD Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence, NOVA IMS, Portugal, 2017). My main experience is as a researcher and writer for scientific areas such as psychology, sociology, medicine, philosophy, business, and marketing. I rather enjoy these activities, preferably when at least partly software-aided (e.g., Microsoft Office, NVivo, SPSS, and/or SAS enterprise miner). I am used to speaking, reading, and writing in English since 1995. Moreover, I lived in England for four years. Although I am comfortable with French and Portuguese, I am more proficient and confident in English. I have published work in this language. I believe better work is done whilst enjoying what we do.
