Hi, I am Tayyab Nasir. I am a software designer, researcher and computer enthusiast. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences. I have been coding for more than 10 years now. I have a demonstrated history working in the computer software industries. I have worked as back-end, front-end and full stack on quite a number of projects and products. I also have managed databases and provided consultancy for improving performance of various software systems. I have quite an extensive experience working in the healthcare domain and have worked with various health standards including HL7, FHIR, CDA, C-CDA, RxNorm, SNOMED-CT and other healthcare standards. Work Experience: Software Engineer August 2017-June 2018 Techlogix Pakistan (PVT) Ltd ? Worked as backend developer on health cloud (Cloud based Hospital Management System) where my role was to write Web Services to expose data to the application’s front-end. I primarily worked with ASP.Net Web API, MS SQL Server and Entity Framework. ? I also researched and developed several proof of concepts to make the application HL7 compliant. ? I also worked on many integrations for effective communication between the Health cloud and other existing systems. I designed a laboratory data transfer service for RMI (Rehman Medical Institute Peshawar) for transmitting their laboratory reports to the health cloud, using Mirth Connect as a middleware to standardize the communication between the two systems and to support conversion of different HL7 versions. ? Also worked on integration for communication between health-cloud and Dynamics 365 ERP system. ? Optimized the application’s code and worked on strategies to make application perform better under heavy loads. Introduced Micro services to separate certain functionality from the monolithic application including the basic user registration tasks including sending email and SMS functionality, along with partitioning certain tables with large data volumes. ? Worked on proof of concept to make health cloud work with local PACS repositories. ? Also worked on proof of concept to introduce the use of CosmosDB (MongoDB API) to fetch more frequently accessed data faster as compared to the relational database. ? Worked with Azure Hybrid Connection to provide Azure applications access to an on-premises SQL Server.
