My knowledge of many programming languages and techniques is broad and capable. My forte is in high efficiency lower level programming.. data processing & mining, distributed processing, automated algorithmic-financial systems, analytics & statistics, artificial intelligence/machine learning, networking, server admin (Linux), large s cale (distributed) application systems, database design, network protocols, audio/video & image processing, lexers, parsers, compilers, business intelligence and automation, sensor networks. Web programming is also a passion of mine both front-end and back-end which includes all the various aspects that would be considered of a quite capable web engineer. I advocate for, and frequent the open source software community of which I contribute to a large extent. My experience not only lies in the art & science of computing, but I have been self-employed for nearly all of my working life and in that, a Florida state certified general contractor for the past 12 years.
