I have had the opportunity to be a part of some of the most reputed companies in the industry, which have helped me to gain valuable experience in the form of in-plant trainings and internships. Most recently, I have done a project-based internship in Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) in Chennai, developing projects to increase the quality, safety of the machining and assembly processes in Engine Shop. Also, the in-plant trainings at Tenneco Automotive (Fresh air and ride comfort component manufacturer), Axles India Limited (Rear axle housing manufacturers) and Adithya Engineering (Bearing for submersible pump manufacturers) have helped me learn the in-depth principles of engineering. I have had the opportunity to represent my university at the Shell ECO Marathon, Asia event, held in Singapore; with our student team INFIEON Supermileage. Being a powertrain engineer in the team, I learnt the designing process for the powertrain unit along with skills like fabrication, machining and material procurement.
I have worked on three projects, named AI based Engine Component Defect Check System; Modelling& Simulation of Electronic Stability Control of Vehicle using Carsim and Matlab-Simulink and Mechanical, Microstructural and Machining Characteristics of Hybrid Metal Matrix Composite for Automotive Application. These projects have helped me put my theoretical knowledge into practice and work on things outside the curriculum.
