i have tons of experience in the art of music, especially composition and song-writing. i write a lot of pop/rock songs, but i have also written countless instrumental piano pieces, from baroque styles to contemporary. i have been told i have “a way with words,” and i do pride myself in my lyrical skills. however i am also a very advanced pianist (13+ years of training), and vocalist (10+ years of training). i also have a lot of experience writing choral music (i was in choir all throughout my life). i traditionally am a soprano but i have a very wide range, and often sang alto or even tenor parts when our choir needed it. i took drum lessons for a few months in high school, but i don’t consider myself a drummer although i can play a basic beat. i can keep rhythm fairly well, even complicated tempos or time changes (the music i write tends to be very complex rhythmically, unless i am following a certain layout for the song). i play a little guitar but it’s not my strong suit, i generally stick to piano. the music i listen to spans all genres; i have also performed with many many rock bands, covering songs ranging from slow rock to hard metal.
