Being a long-time amateur poetry writer allows me the luxury of being able to incorporate this skill into writing lyrics for songs, poems for cards, books and more. Bringing out the emotion of a song requires connection to the subject and its purpose. I have such a knack for this writing style. I have recently written a punk rock lyrics project for a client wishing to express his youthful angst about the world around him. Happily, he walked away inspired to put music to my lyrics, as he has wanted to express and share with the world since he was a child.
