Creative writing (prose and poetry), photography, drawing, painting, composition. Personally, I am a story-teller, artist, photographer and pathological traveler. Professionally, I come from a long background of training in writing, editing and research. I recently completed an MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia, the most selective creative writing course in the UK. I earned my BA at Appalachian State University in North Carolina, graduating with honors in English and a minor in applied linguistics. My publications include short fiction, poetry and photography. However, my roots are in creative non-fiction such as essays and travel writing.Having worked in Peru, Papua New Guinea, Israel and the United Kingdom I possess a unique perspective that comes from working and writing within different cultural and language groups.
