An award-winning reporter and author, Creston Nelson-Morrill has more than 30 years of experience in the communications field as a reporter, editor, speech writer and lobbyist. She worked on legislative committee staff and was a speechwriter and health care policy analyst for the state insurance commissioner. A gifted writer, she was the Florida correspondent for National Underwriter's property and casualty and health care editions and wrote a monthly Tallahassee 'insiders' report for Florida Underwriter. As founder and president of HealthTrac, Inc., she launched a series of policy newsletters covering health care, managed care, property and casualty insurance, the residual insurance market, workers' compensation and IT. She also served as editor of the Florida Department of Elder Affairs' Elder Update, which focused on aging issues and as the founding editor of Florida's Child, a monthly magazine focused on early education.
