** I have a degree in Economics (graduated top 5% of my class). Though I am really good at many things (finance, statistics, history, politics, etc) and also widely read, you can call me a Data Engineer with years of Machine Learning experience.
*** I have experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines making use of various AWS services such as Amazon Athena, Amazon Redshift, Amazon GLUE, etc, and other open-source software (Spark, SQL, etc). I do have experience designing Data Lakes/extracting data from various sources such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, REST API, etc, and can also stream data with Kafka and Debezium.
*** I can configure an Amazon Redshift/Amazon Snowflake warehouse as a destination to load the data that has been extracted, orchestrate data pipelines making use of Apache Airflow, and also implement various Machine Learning/Deep Learning algorithms on the cloud. In as much as I don't know how to use Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure right now, be rest assured that I will sure try and learn about those two in the future because I really do love learning new stuff.
