Greetings! My name is Scott. I would describe myself as a "Backend Tech Generalist." I earned a degree in Computer Science, worked in IT for 10 years, and have more recently revisited my software development roots. My prior work experience includes everything from multi-billion-dollar companies to small startups (I'm running my own startup now, in fact), and projects ranging from database maintenance to upgrading a private network to setting up an isolated PCI environment from scratch. I bring a thorough and careful approach to my work -- I believe it is best to set your systems up properly the first time, and I ensure that said systems will be secure and robust, rather than tacking those features on at the end.
