I have been working for outsourcing for more than 12 years with cad/cam projects with softwares like Auto cad 2d/3d, Solid works pro. Currently i am working with Optilan UK Ltd for last 5 years and freelancing for Rockwell Sheets Ltd. Both this are UK based firms and i am working from home (India) for this respective companies. As the rate for cad works is high at there end so they prefer me to work for rate under $4-$5 an hour which is a much cheaper rate. We communicate through Skype and they transfer the funds in my account through Paypal. I will explain you the process they send me pdf file as mark up through ftp server or e mail and i return them with 100% accuracy with the time given for completing the work through ftp server or email. And at every weekend or month end i send them the time sheet for the work performed by me.
