As an Operations Assistant, I worked under the supervision of the Director of Architecture and Interior Design and Facilities Operation Manager. Duties include: On the floor point of contact for Operational issues, quality control of all building facilities, understanding the building capabilities and operations, maintaining request invoice/inventory management system, act as a liaison for the building's Terrace and responsibility for Incident reports and timely submission to HR and Director of Architecture.Registral duties include overseeing collections and exhibition management as well as planning, shipping logistics and exhibition prep. Lead management of the museum's permanent collection in regards to conservation, as well as assisting in collections communications and programming. Maintaining the digital records through the use of the Past Perfect museum database for management, membership and back-up. Duties also include guiding museum tours and teaching arts and craft classes at least once a month for Family Saturday's at the museum. The responsibilities for programming coordinator, include planning various events surrounding upcoming exhibitions and holidays (WNEM After Hours at the Museum and The Community Labor Day Picnic Event). Overseeing and assisting clients who wish to rent the museum space for weddings, receptions, fashion shows and other events. The Programming Coordinator also oversees the museum's part-time and Saturday staff, while also spearheading the museum's monthly book club gatherings.
