* Review the proposed project’s design, material specifications, contract drawings and project
documents to understand the scope of the project and start the estimation process
* Manage project development from initiation to closure
* Assign responsibilities to the workers and supervise the execution of works
* Ensure the execution of works is in accordance with the approved shop drawing and project
requirements
* Monitor the progress of structural and fit-out works
* Schedule all workloads required on site and report work accomplishments
Review the Contract & Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
* Compute the cost of labor, materials and time requirements needed to complete the project
* Control, monitor, and ensure that the actual site estimated quantities for structural and
architectural works are all in accordance with the limit and scope of the awarded contract BOQ
* Prepare measurement/quantity take-off backups and progress reports
* Handles estimating and cost control
* Conduct value engineering of design options to maximize value for money
* Measure the work done on site and prepare payment application
* Prepare method statement and act as QA/QC to ensure project standards and requirements are achieved
