Substation Engineering

  1. Design & Engineering activity of EHV/HV 400/220/132kV substation such as preparation of Electrical Drawings and Layouts like SLDs, Plan & Section Layouts, EKDs, DSLP, Lightning, Earthing Layouts.
  2. Preparation of Engineering BoQs, Techno-Commercial offer evaluation for different equipment used in substation projects.
  3. Preparation & deliver all substation engineering drawing & documents including Single Line Diagram, Layout Plan and Sections, Foundation layout, Earthing Design & Layout as per IEEE80, Electrical Clearance Layout, etc. Calculations such as Short circuit force calculation, Temp. rise, Sag tension, DSLP as per IEEE998. Familiar with IEC/IS/IEEE standards.
  4. Liaise with cross-discipline teams such as Project Management, Procurement, Civil & Structural Design and Site team to get involved in the day-to-day detail of the project
  5. Prepare and float offer enquiry for all equipments as per required technical specifications & work on technical vetting for all offers received
  6. Study and Review all drawings received from vendor and submit for Customer Approval
  7. Discussion with Customer for submitted drawings/ layouts/ calculations and get approval
  8. Site Supervision to ensure correct/ approved design implementation during construction phase
  9. Complete review of secondary protection schemes and cable schedules.
  10. Continuous Interaction with the Site and Marketing Teams for troubleshooting problems at site or at
     customer end during approval
  11. Resolve real time technical issues occurring at site and provide site support
  12. Quantity estimation, relevant calculations and pricing for Tender filling
  13. Preparing all relevant documents like Pre Bid Queries, GTP’s, BOQ, Clarification/ Deviation and all that is asked for bidder while quoting Tenders
  14. Conducting knowledge transfer sessions/ useful findings
  15. AutoCAD Drafting and any CAD related works.
  16. Any electrical related works
