My name is Leal Daniel Peralta and my last position was a Team Lead for Cognizant Technology Solutions for one of their insurance and healthcare clients. I have been a Team Leader since 2010 with brokerage licenses in the US (Series 7 and 24). I have been in the customer service field since I started working in 2003 and have worked my way to the leadership post. I got promoted by being a subject matter expert and making sure that my team mates can rely on me for product questions. I have limited experience through UpWork, but I have been in the BPO industry for more than 10 years, 5 of which I was in a supervisory post. I am used to communicating in English - both written and verbal. I am able to multi-task and finish all deliverables by the timeframe given or agreed upon. I have been a Team Leader since 2010 and have had exposure to the team manager role. I was appointed as Team Manager OIC from 2011-2012 and as compliance officer for our Cebu site in 2013. As a Team Leader, I was handling licensed brokers and was approving and reviewing trades they placed. I was responsible for the team's metrics, SLAs and performance coachings. We also have daily, weekly and monthly reports to ensure accuracy of the trades placed. I am also responsible for any HR-related matters for my team. Additionally, we take in escalated calls when needed and we also provide real-time support for our agents if they have any questions or if they need out-of-the-box solutions for the customer. Attention to detail is also very important as we review transactions and reports in order to coach and mentor our associates properly.
