During the first four years of my fourteen year military career of which I am now separated from I did surveillance of the airspace within the Southeast sector of the United States. Examples of what I did while in this position are below. Location Near: Kuwait (address remains undisclosed) Title: Surveillance Technician Objective: 100% identification of all aircraft within the Southeast region of the United States skies. Tasks Accomplished: >>> Maintained situational awareness during more than 250 air-to-air refueling, 30 close air support,and two response option missions contributing to 100% aircraft target accuracy. Location Near: Fort Walton Beach, Florida (address remains undisclosed) Title: Surveillance Technician Objective: 100% identification of all aircraft within the Southeast region of the United States skies. Tasks Accomplished: >>> Responsible for the detection, identification, track initiation, and maintenance of all airborne objects within the assigned area of 40,000 square miles providing 100% tracking and detection within the allotted radius over the course of 6 months. >>> Expert tracking skills led leadership to handpick to augment personnel shortage at Northeast Air Defense Sector during Operation NOBLE EAGLE where efforts were rewarded by being promoted to tracking technician.
