Climate change is strongly related to water issues such as flooding, lack of drinking water or water for crops. Water waves can be tremendously forceful and damage whatever comes in their way. Heat energy from the oceans make tornadoes and typhoons much stronger than they would otherwise be. Combating climate change requires much more prudent management of our forests and our fossil resources. Urban and highway encroachment of vegetated land feeds climate change and increases problems related to the increasingly heavy downpours that tend to follow the changing climate. Admittedly, it is a wide area, but I am open-minded and willing to delve into any subtopic that you would like to have some help with.
