• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming requests and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. • Administer Windows network; this includes but not limited to DNS, DHCP, AD, and Group Policy. • Respond to requests either in person or over the phone. • Respond to email messages for customers seeking help. • Act as a technical resource in order to assist users with resolving computer issues. • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software. • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems. • Maintain, install and troubleshoot network components and peripherals; copiers, printers, workstation terminals, Cisco switches, VOIP phones, VPN Networks • Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved. • Determine users’ technical needs and provide them with appropriate solutions • Connect, install and set up hardware • Maintain network user accounts and shared resources • Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards. • Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades. • Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed. • Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information; managing projects. • Look at complicated network systems to find flaws or room for improvement. • Undertake routine preventative measures and implement, maintain and monitor network security • Support administration of server/VMWare environment
