Teach English/edit//write/rewrite

In my career, I have worked in several different areas. Before I became a teacher, I worked in New York City and Upstate New York for several middle and upper management executives. My business career spans over 18 years. With the birth of my daughter, I decided to go back to school and become a teacher. Creative lesson planning is my specialty. The creation of tests and unusual assignment have captivated my students so much that they mentioned my classes in their yearbook memoirs. I have also been listed in Marquis Who's Who of American Education since 1996. One of my honor students recommended me. Now that I am fully retired from teaching, I wish to help authors and entrepreneurs with their various endeavors involving the written word. I hold a master's degree in education with a specialty in English. I am a New York State certified English teacher with experience in curriculum development and over 20 yrs teaching experience. I also have a great deal of experience in editing, writing and proofreading. My whole career has revolved around the English language. I have edited countless author manuscripts and resumes. Among my credits are two books I wrote for new elementary teachers and new substitute teachers which are both marketed on Amazon. My editing expertise was sought after by the Ulster County Chamber of Commerce during the compilation of articles for their Ulster County Guide. All of the articles were edited and in some cases rewritten by me. I have also written articles for the Hudson Valley Business Journal. Although I have posted rates, they are negotiable.
