My teaching experience is broad, deep and impactful. I have taught elementary and secondary grades 1-12 at a small classical school. As well, I have taught various business classes in the Community College setting as well as at the 4 year accredited Montreat College. Moreover, I have corporate classroom experience teaching and training at NationsBank. Finally, I have taught in a professional development setting with the American Bankers Association. So, I have a track record of taking a deep personal interest in academic and professional advancement with a diversity of students. As well as teaching, I have effectively advised and mentored students enabling them to make measurable progress toward the completion of defined programs. I provided direct comprehensive program guidance for students in grades 7-12 and monitored progress to successfully earn over 350 of college credits before finishing high school utilizing online and CBE venues. As an adviser, I chartered a pathway for several 16 year olds to complete their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Thomas Edison State College finishing over a year ahead of their initial schedule. Both are pursing post-graduate studies. Also, I advocated acceptance to an intensive graduate school level dual language program for five middle school students who finished in the top third of their respective classes. So I have amassed a demonstrative record of successfully advising students on time management and schedule benchmarks for the student to successfully master program concepts, knowledge and skills.
