To work like a teacher here is to educate those candidates who are new to it. A teacher is a person who teaches well. If a teacher is well educated or well mannered, only then he/she satisfy other to follow. In our society some people do not know anything or they are ready to perform. In our country many people are uneducated because of financial crisis or because of unawareness.
