I've been a freelance technical writer in the computer networking industry for over 15 years. During this time I have worked as a contributor and editor for several industry publications (Network Computing, InfoWorld, Information Week, and others), authored two technical reference books (Networking Windows NT [Wiley] and Internet Core Protocols [O'Reilly]), authored two dozen draft documents for IETF review, and have provided contract technical writing services to a variety of companies in Silicon Valley and elsewhere. I recently completed a documentation and collateral job for a client in San Francisco, and am looking for another project.
