I specialize in educational writing and offer a broad range of experience to back up my work. I have worked for nearly two decades as a teacher, teacher-trainer, curriculum developer, school administrator, travel guide, youth mentor, and of course, editor and writer. My writing has been published in books, magazines, and online by clients such as McGraw-Hill, Houghton Mifflin, and Pearson Education. My published works include award-winning poetry, photography, travelogues, fiction and nonfiction works, training manuals, and thousands of pages of curriculum. In addition to educational writing, I often complete assignments in travel writing. I have traveled to more than 50 countries around the world and rely on this personal experience as the foundation for informative and insightful travelogues.     After giving Karen my full manuscript, she did exactly what I asked her to, She even went above and beyond my expectations. She gave me suggestions on author platforms (not included in my project) plus many additional references as to where to go for help and what books to read to help me with my writing. After looking at the manuscript with her suggestions and corrections, I was blown away. She had so many suggestions and was very honest with me (like I asked her to be).     The project deadline that was given was very tight and specific to the project. The deadline was met exceptionally well, additional work was provided that was not requested. The writer took the time to understand the project and ask what was required, there were problems getting the images to the writer and she was very easy to work with and patient while we fixed internal technical problems
