I have a B.A. in political science with a minor in technical writing. My technical writing minor required that I complete classes in basic technical writing, advanced technical writing, technical editing, and manuals and procedures. I have also written several operational manuals for businesses including a business airline, health club, a dojo, and several restaurants. I have a personal training certification and have written basic instructional manuals on nutrition and exercise. I am currently finishing a Master of Arts degree in interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in technical writing. I possess thorough researching skills, and the ability to organize content and present compelling arguments. I worked as a copy editor for the Dallas Morning News, and currently work for a non-profit where I work with the web content team to write web content, direct content strategy and establish & design new web sites. I do freelance work on the side.
