During project design, an outline of the project is created, including: - The organization(s) responsible for completing it - A description of the project - Goals, outcomes, and objectives, and when they will be completed - Major deliverables, products, and/or features - Success criteria, and/or monitoring and evaluation guidelines - Budget estimates The next big thing will be to follow some common steps almost all projects have and leaving room for modifications and changes that might arise. Some of these steps include; 1. Defining project goals(General and specific goals) 2. Agreeing with the client or team on what should be the outcome and deliverables of the project. This can only be archived using the SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and finally Time) way. 3. Clearly identifying the risk, constrains and assumptions made in the course of the project. 4. In some cases i make use of Charts (Gantt charts, Pett Chat, Flow chat), graphs, images or tables which can be visually explicit to explain some concepts (Especially in Requirement specifications documents)
