There have been many times in the history of this country that we have had huge tantrums, but most of them faded away fairly quickly. For example, the riots we witnessed following the death of George Floyd were horrific, but only lasted for weeks. This time, we are facing a national tantrum that will not be measured in weeks or months. Unless the Supreme Court changes course on abortion, and I don't expect that to happen any time soon, the tantrum we're seeing now is unlikely to have an end point. Millions of Infernal Ogres were stirred into a gigantic rage, and the entire nation would pay the price.
The violence that occurred over the weekend is just the beginning. From this point on, no pro-life organization in America will be safe.
Very early Saturday morning, police discovered that a pro-life center in a highly conservative area of Virginia had been attacked...
Vandals targeted a pro-life center in Lynchburg, Virginia, with threatening graffiti and broken windows after the U.S. Supreme Court voted to overturn Roe. Wade on Friday. "If an abortion isn't safe, you're not safe," reads the red walls in the entrance area of the Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center, and photos released by local police show. Lynchburg police responded to the pregnancy center at about 10:40 a.m. Saturday. The officers found that “the building had been sprayed with mist, and many windows had been smashed. Security camera footage shows four masked individuals committing the acts.”
Unfortunately, as we've seen in recent weeks, these types of attacks are often not limited to broken windows and graffiti.
In Colorado, we just witnessed another incident in which extremists actually tried to burn a pro-life organization to the ground...
A fire at a Christian pregnancy clinic in Colorado is being treated as an arson after chilling messages were sprayed onto the walls and floor outside. Read someone: 'If abortions aren't safe, they aren't safe'. 'Ban on our bodies,' another said at the entrance to the Life Choices Clinic in Longmont, northeast of Boulder, the fire broke out in the middle of the night at 3:17 a.m. Saturday. Authorities believe the fire was set on purpose.
