The Canal Club, headed by Khaled Afifi, sent a letter to the Egyptian Football Association, condemning the arbitration errors in the first football team’s match against Porto Suez, in the eighteenth round, in the second division grievances league.In his speech, the channel expressed his deep dissatisfaction with the mistakes made by the refereeing staff, most notably the awarding of an incorrect penalty kick to Porto Suez during the middle of the first half of the match, which caused the players of his team to lose their focus during the rest of the match.

وأضاف أن طاقم التحكيم الذي أسند إليه المباراة بقيادة هشام القاضي، خالد السيد، أيمن دعبس ومحمد طنطاوي، لم يكن على قدر المستوي المطلوب، خاصة وأن القناة في منافسة قوية للصعود إلى الدوري المصري الممتاز.

وتابع: «لم تكن هذه المره الأولي التي يتعرض نادي القناة لظلم تحكيمي، بعدما تعرض أيضًا لظلم واضح، خلال مباراته أمام فريق السكة الحديد التي أقيمت يوم 30-12-2022».

وطالب: «بضرورة تعيين حكام دوليين خلال جميع مبارياته القادمة في هذه المسابقة، بدايةً من مباراة زد القادمة، التي ستقام الجمعة المقبل الموافق 24-2-2023 بالإسماعيلية، لتجنب تلك الأخطاء التحكيمية المتكررة بصورة واضحة ضد فريقنا».

ويحتل القناة وصافة جدول الترتيب، برصيد 37 نقطة، خلف زد المتصدر برصيد 39 نقطة.
