The Chinese balloon was a preoccupation for the Americans since it entered their country's airspace, several days ago, until they dropped it in the Atlantic Ocean, yesterday, Saturday.
The US military shot down the Chinese balloon on the orders of President Joe Biden off the coast of South Carolina overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, after it raised security concerns and further strained relations between Washington and Beijing.
China has repeatedly stressed that the airship was a civilian, and that its presence in that region was "accidental", denying that its aim was to "espionage" on US interests.
