As a writer and editor, I understand the significant role a well-written and well edited document plays in conveying important information to readers. I use my knowledge of the ways in which texts could be improved for particular audiences or for increased readability to help others improve their writing styles. My skills have transformed resumes and self-assessments for various positions, including federal government agencies and public and private sector career fields. My revisions and insights have significantly improved applications for scholarship programs and undergraduate and graduate programs. I have a keen eye for detail and know how to help others improve their written work so their overall ideas or themes are not disregarded because of difficulties with written expression. As a result of my professional background, I am able to provide feedback to others about their writing in a manner that is productive and produces significantly improved documents. I have worked as a classroom teacher in the past and continue to currently serve in the education field as a mental health professional. I have extensive knowledge and interest in topics related to physical and mental health and well-being.
