Mark Zuckerberg, founder of the Meta company that owns Facebook, Instagram, Oculus and others, published a video clip showing his avatar (Avatar) interacting with a character he hosted in his virtual home, through his helmet.

This video reveals the next update to the "Quest" helmet, which is used by metaverse visitors, as users will be able to invite their friends to spend time with them, watch videos or go to applications directly from the virtual home.

In the video, Zuckerberg's avatar appears talking to professional American climber Alex Honnold, then the two characters are immersed in a 360-degree video that shows the adventurer climbing a cliff in the Dolomites, according to Agence France-Presse.

Previously, users of Quest 2 helmets could meet their friends on virtual nights out, explore the worlds of Horizon Worlds, META's main virtual reality platform, or participate in a two-player game, but they couldn't be together in each other's homes.

“We are developing options that allow you to personalize the user world,” Zuckerberg said. Meta is gradually adding features that make it more involved in the metaverse world.

Users have previously complained about being harassed in "Horizon Worlds", for example, which prompted "Meta" to introduce an update that is to impose a certain distance between avatars.
