Thousands of protesters demonstrated in front of the municipal theater in the Tunisian capital, to  demand accountability for the Brotherhood and its allies after their involvement in terrorism.

The protesters raised slogans calling for Tunisian President Kais Saied to hold the corrupt accountable before the elections, and to purify the judiciary.

The demonstrators expressed anger at the former regime, calling for the establishment of a new republic devoid of the Brotherhood.

The protesters raised slogans such as "O Ghannouchi, O butcher, O kill of souls", "Accountability is due", "Free Tunisia is free, and the Brotherhood is on the outside."

A number of national parties and organizations from different political backgrounds participated in this march that supported the July 25 track approved by Qais Saeed, which led to the dissolution of the parliament controlled by the Brotherhood.

Kamal Al-Hrabi, spokesman for the July 25 movement, said that this march is directed at the Brotherhood, and a message that the President of the Republic still enjoys popular support from Tunisians, and there is no way to go back.

In statements to "Al-Ain News", he confirmed that the head of state's opponents are afraid of the referendum and changing the electoral system, because the current electoral law was a reason for their access to power, i.e. the Brotherhood.

Al-Hrabi called for effective accountability for all those who transgressed and those who tried to infringe on the Tunisian people, adding, "No to foreign interference in our country's affairs, nor to foreign dictates."

He continued, "The pending files must be opened, research should be expedited, and the Brotherhood involved in the files of terrorism, assassinations and the deportation of terrorists to terrorist hotbeds, and those who tampered with public money such as compensation and others, must be held accountable."

He stressed the rejection of the policy of starvation, the policy of scorched earth, and the return of those who contributed to the current situation, saying, "No to dialogue with those who contributed from far or near in the attempt to bring the state to its knees and put pressure on the citizen."

The spokesman called on the Tunisian president to make fateful decisions that respond to the demands of the Tunisian people, the most important of which is the dissolution of the Brotherhood's Ennahda Party by law and the accountability of the group.
