Popular social media and short video publishing platform TikTok has added the Dislike option to feedback options for users around the world.

TechCrunch, which specializes in technology topics, noted that the platform began testing this option last April as a way for users to express their dissatisfaction with a particular video, for example as inappropriate and irrelevant.

If the user clicks on the "I don't like" button for a particular comment, this will not appear for the rest of the users, and there will be no alert to the commenter that another user has chosen the "I don't like" option, as his opinion in the comment. Also, commentators and other users will not know how many times users have chosen the “I don’t like” option to comment on certain content, and the user can undo the “I don’t like” option by clicking again on the button.
