Place: Hyderabad, Redmond Role: Technical Lead Project Details: Windows ETR group in Microsoft is responsible for the development and maintenance of various software engineering tools being used inside the Microsoft. We are basically involved in the sustenance and validation of various MS Build services and PM tools (MSFT Proprietary tools). Build services is used to manage information related to all win7 OS builds and to carry out some automated operations on the builds as they come. It also provides the customers with an interface to locate builds produced/released anywhere. This system consists of 6 Database servers, 2 web servers and an NT service that processes incoming requests and populate the Build services database. My Responsibility: • Involved in ascertaining the requirements for multiple Build and Project Management Tools. • Responsible for timely completion of the project with desired level of quality at onsite and offshore. • Responsible for resolving all issues related to scope and/or any other technical issues. • Communication/correspondence with the entire stakeholder’s including Client and HCL’s SM. • Distribution of Project Status/Engagement status to the respective stake holders.
