One person is in custody, and another is in the hospital after a road rage dispute led to a shooting incident in West Asheville. The Asheville Police Department says officers responded to the 1300 block of Patton Avenue just after 10 a.m. Monday morning for reports of a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Mission Hospital for treatment. As a result of the investigation, police say 60-year-old Levi Michael has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. Police did not detail the exact events that led up to the shooting but did say the incident happened due to a road rage dispute.
