Awoman found dead in Macon County back in May has been identified as Tina Walkingstick Frizsell. Her remains were found, shortly after her family reported her missing, at an encampment off Mulberry Road. Four people who were previously charged in connection to her disappearance now have been indicted in relation to her death.

Congressman Madison Cawthorn has filed a financial report with the Federal Elections Commission that's more than a month late, the report shows. The campaign has a deficit of more than $300,000. It's money he will have to pay back to his contributors at some point. The report shows Cawthorn spent money on consultants but also at fast-food restaurants and even a tobacco shop.

Asheville police are searching for a man considered "armed and dangerous," who faces charges after a recent shooting left one person injured. Authorities say, Jason Edward Taylor, 29, crashed into another car on Deaverview Road on Sunday and then shot the passenger of that car. The victim is expected to be okay, but Taylor is facing several charges.
