The recent Pace High School graduate and Florida Dairy Farmers Association Class 6A Player of the Year spent this past Tuesday night watching 2021 World Series MVP Jorge Soler take his cuts as a member of the Pensacola Blue Wahoos during a game against the Chattanooga Lookouts at Blue Wahoos Stadium.

Ford is projected to be an early-round pick in the 2022 MLB Draft, which gets started at 6 p.m. Sunday and will be televised by both ESPN and the MLB Network.

The 6-foot-3, 198-pound right-handed pitcher is the 53rd-rated prospect in this year's draft according to MLB.com, but has been rumored to be a possible selection late in the first round.
