1. M1 cameras caught woman driving 32mph above speed limit

DRIVER has been fined more than £2,000 for exceeding a 40mph speed limit on the M1.


Katherine Remington, 42, of Swallowfield, pleaded guilty to driving 72mph on the motorway between junctions 28 and 35A in Yorkshire on October 21 last year.


She was caught at about 9.19am on two different speed cameras.

A man from Reading has sadly died after being involved in a fatal road traffic collision near Sherfield-on-Loddon.


Shortly after 12.30pm yesterday, (February 15) Hampshire Police were called to a report of a road traffic collision on the A33 at Turgis Green.


Police soon arrived at the scene where a yellow MAN TGE 3 van reportedly left the southbound carriageway and collided with a silver Volkswagen Passat that was parked on the forecourt of a petrol station.
