Toyota, the Japanese auto giant, revealed its sales of hybrid and hydrogen cars until the end of February 2022, which amounted to more than 20 million cars around the world, in an effort to adhere to sustainable environmental mobility plans and reduce emissions.
Toyota also introduced the world's first mass-market hydrogen car, the Mirai, which received an all-new second generation recently, and Toyota announced plans to launch at least 30 electric cars by 2030.
Toyota also expects to sell 3.5 million hybrid, electric and hydrogen vehicles annually before 2030, an ambitious but fully achievable goal
Toyota explained that sales of green cars have reduced carbon dioxide emissions from cars by about 160 million tons over the past two decades.
