I have been typing since I was 14 and have been doing medical transcriptions since 2003. I am a dedicated worker and have a computer available with me at just about all times so there is no downtime or vacation time. I can get most of the work back within a 24 hour time period, 48 at the most, but that also depends on how much of the work there is. I work from my home and have references from doctors that I have worked for and am currently working for as well. I usually charge per page as it is easier for everyone, but I am always open for negotiations. I am a medical transcriptionist and have been working for 8 1/2 years. I have experience in typing IME, AME, QME, disability reports, initial narrative reports, peer reviews, and daily progress notes. I take no vacation days and have my computer with me at all times so I can usually have the reports back within a 24-48 hour time period depending on how many are needed.
