I worked in the legal field for over 11 years, during this time I also transcribed both tape and digital audio. For the last three years I have been doing transcription as an independent contractor.My experience includes several years of transcription and review/editing of digital audio files. I've transcribed letters, financial planning reports, television programs, legal and general interviews, medical reports, court proceedings, legal pleadings and other various audios. I've transcribed audios for foreign translation agencies, government agencies, large corporations, colleges, small companies, authors, and other individuals. I also have experience also have experience as a legal assistant in an intellectual property and in a general/civil legal setting. I have drafted documents for filing with courts and government agencies and also correspondence to clients regarding general civil, family, personal injury, intellectual property and corporate matters.
