Good day! I am a freelance audio transcriptionist/transcriber looking to offer my transcription services. I am an efficient and accurate transcriber with a typing speed of 70 wpm, able to handle an hour of audio recording on a single day. Excellent command of the English language and online research are one of my strong suits. Typically, I can get 60 minutes of audio done in about eight to ten hours complete with proofreading. I strictly adhere to deadlines and confidentiality is given utmost importance. I have the necessary software which includes MS Word 2007 and Express Scribe/FTR Player. The hardware includes a desktop PC, a laptop, a variety of headphones, a couple of Infinity foot pedals and mechanical keyboards, all of which assist me in delivering the job more efficiently. I have been working in the transcription field for more than seven years starting with two years in medical transcription. I have high familiarity with medical terminologies as well as those in various other fields in science. I also build and set up personal computers, troubleshooting them for problems as well, so I am at the same time very familiar with terminologies relating to information technology. I have been able to transcribe a number of interviews, webinars, podcasts, seminars, conferences, financial reports, and academic lectures, among others, with varying degrees of difficulty and accents.
