I own and operate a transcription company in Cincinnati, Ohio. We specialize in transcribing recorded statements for insurance companies, private individuals, police departments, private investigators, insurance adjusters and marketing firms. We also transcribe anything that's in an audio format. We charge by the page and not by the minute. We feel that is the fairest way to price because many times there is dead space in an audio tape. If we charged by the minute, you would be paying for that dead space. The price is $3.50 per page, single spaced, 50 lines per page.
