I have been teaching IELTS for the last 8 years, right after completing my 16 years of education in Applied Linguistics in 2013. Since then I have been attending the training sessions held by renowned examining bodies like British Council and IDP for all four modules: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. For upgrading my academic level and to get an in-depth understanding of English Language Learning I completed my postgraduation in Applied Linguistics nearly three years ago. This degree really helped me to understand the language learning process and the factors that hinder a student to show his language competence, particularly during exams.
Talking about my professional achievements, I have instructed more than 2000 students in listening, speaking, academic reading and writing, along with delivering instruction in language arts that encompasses grammar, composition, and literature. In addition to this, I have prepared students for tests by teaching relevant concepts and enforcing good test-taking skills. Furthermore, I have managed diverse groups of students by teaching language acquisition in dynamic academic lessons and closely monitoring progress. Besides creating curriculum, lesson plans, and course content to maximize the effectiveness of instruction, I have instructed students on a variety of skills, including Time Management, Context-Based Learning, and Presentation Skills. Moreover, I have conducted Skills assessments to uncover performance gaps by providing individual mentoring and special tutoring to struggling students. Above all, I have helped my pupils to improve their English grammar and vocabulary levels through written and interactive activities.
