I'm Chiara, 30, from Italy.

I've always been curious and versatile, with a strong sense of discipline and work ethic that made me jump into the job scene right after high school. For years, work was my main focus. But after Covid, I reached a breaking point and started questioning if being stuck in a city working full time was what I really wanted.

That's when I decided to quit my 40-hour-a-week job as a store manager and make up artist, grab my backpack, and started travelling full time, first around Europe and then in New Zealand, craving a bigger adventure in an english speaking country far from Europe.

While travelling, I took on multiple jobs as kitchen hand, pet sitting, receptionist, gardening and mainteinance's job.

But mainly, I've spent lot of time studying and improving my english skills and did different remote jobs as a translator and transcriber.

Combining travel with working remotely is my ideal way to create new connections, dip myself in different cultures and develop my personal growth.

Being able to dedicate more time to my passions and explore different countries makes me feel more grounded and focused on my work, which I manage with curiosity and a strong desire to contribute.
