I have been a professional translator for almost 4 years, mostly via Upwork (My clients' feedback @ https://goo.gl/3eA7xl), and I am currently in a position in my life and career where I am looking to collaborate with a company on a long-term basis. As for my academic background, I have a bachelor's degree in Languages, Literatures & Foreign Civilizations (LLCE) obtained in 2011 at the University Jean Moulin (Lyon III), as well as a BTS in International Business Studies which I earned in 2001 at the IPAC Institute in Annecy (France). Before getting into the translation industry — and realizing that it was the trade I enjoy most and excel at —, I held numerous positions in very different fields, both in France and England. I notably lived in London for 3 years where I was teaching French to business executives and young professionals of all walks of life for a year, then a year as an Administrative Agent for the French Consulate, and finally another year as a Customer Support Agent and Social Media Specialist for a printing company; I also lived two years in Ireland as part of my International Business curriculum where I was both studying and working in a bank as an intern together with selling art paintings for a gallery door to door. These very wide-ranging and far-reaching professional experiences, and academic studies, enable me to develop a vast linguistic toolkit which I’m now able to put to good use in your company.
