I translate and proofread all kinds of texts in different fields, from scientific, legal texts to literature. I also teach English and German online via Zoom, Skype,465134465134
I currently work at the Primary school of Retkovec in Zagreb, Croatia. I have participated in different international projects with my students e. g. Sharing lifestyle, Visual performing arts in Europe, an intercultural language, The no name country, Teen reporters, MEET project (Meeting European Educational needs.) In these projects I cooperated with different European schools.
As a teacher I am ready to lifelong learning because it is very important for acquiring innovative approaches and methods of teaching.
I took part in different seminars, workshops, conferences in Croatia and abroad. One of them was an interesting European workshop "Intercultural education" in Bad Wildbad in Germany where I could exchange my experience and knowledge with colleagues from different European countries. It was an ideal opportunity for me to get acquainted with the achievements of the Council of Europe in the field of education. In this way I could widen and to improve my professional skills. I also took part in different international eTwinning projects with my students. The topics that are in my sphere of interest are especially intercultural learning and integration practice at school as well as conflict prevention. As I teach foreign languages I am especially interested in diversity and intercultural education.
I feel that one of my greatest strengths as a teacher is the ability to meet each student's unique needs by having an in-depth understanding of their needs and abilities. I often teach students with specific requirements and I try to integrate them into the regular school program as much as possible. Motivation has got the biggest role for student's achievement and I try to motivate my students in different ways.
As a teacher I try to find out the students' full potential and to develop their skills by different motivating methods and techniques.
