I have two decades of on-and-off translation experience in three languages: English, Russian, and Ukrainian, including work for USAID and UNDP. I also translated several business books from English into Russian which were published in Russia (eg Drucker's Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Moore's Crossing the Chasm). I was trained in the theory and practice of translation / technical translation, including military translation, at the Institute of International Relations in Ukraine which prepares its graduates for diplomatic careers. I feel comfortable translating large technical texts, including aerospace/transport/telecommunications, foreign policy/international relations, business/finance. I have Master's degree in Strategic Communication from the School of Journalism of the University of Missouri-Columbia and live in Washington, DC.
