My name is Rebecca and I was born and raised in Sweden. I moved to the US when I was 20 in order to go to university. My degree is in psychology and linguistics from UCLA, and after getting my BA I moved back to Sweden and worked as an in-house translator and research assistant at at a research facility in Gothenburg, Sweden for 7 years. One of my main responsibilities was to translate their scientific articles for publication from Swedish to English, and to prepare them for publishing. I currently work out of my home in Croatia where I moved to live a life with horses, special needs children and nature. This enables me to control my own time and to be able to guarantee that deadlines are met. In addition to being a native Swedish and English speaker, I am also fluent in Croatian and French.
