My studies in writing are extensive and range from poetry to journalism. I am also well-versed in scientific/technical writing, as I have experience as a laboratory assistant and have written synthesizing science reports regarding autism, the genetics of alcoholism and the epigenetics of the honeybee. My poetry has also been published in a variety of journals. My translating skills are very efficient and––I have been told––quite unique due to my experience in writing. My studies and achievements as a writer in many fields make my translations thoughtful and elegant. I find that translated texts are often very obviously-translated into English, and I think it is a shame to lose the true significance of a text due to language barriers. I take my translating work seriously and am very open to critique and open communication. My translating rate is $0.08 per word, but I am open to negotiating! If you are interested in just my writing, my content rate is $0.05 per word.
