Leveraging my University training in French (at Georgetown University's Institute of Languages and Linguistics) with my Master’s in Geology allowed me to pursue a 5-year career working in the U.S. and France for the French Atomic Energy Commission. I devoted the first year of that association to translating numerous comprehensive mining project reports on world-class African uranium deposits into colloquial (geologic) American English to induce U.S. uranium producers to become JV partners with the French Government. In the following years, I worked side-by-side with French nationals on domestic (US) uranium exploration projects.
